Pure water sachets are product of plastics which are used widely in Sierra Leone for various purposes, among such function is in the packaging of pure potable water. This is when consumed and disposed can pose a great environmental problem if not disposed properly. Empty polythene plastic containers are rampant in the nook and cranny of the Sierra Leone landscape. The entire length of roads and streets in Sierra Leone lined with millions of old and used containers deposited by travelers and pedestrians. Some of this waste that litter the streets find their ways into drains, trenches and canals, thereby clogging drains and hindering the free flow of water and consequently leading to flooding.
In view of all the hazards that accompany the improper disposal of plastic waste, Global Recycling Company (GRC), sees the need for an alternative means to manage the plastic waste, by recycling them into outdoor tiles. This recycling process will go a long way to contribute to a cleaner environment in Sierra Leone. GRC is uniquely placed to grow in Sierra Leone’s building and construction industry. Its tiles are cheaper than their competitors, more eco-friendly, durable, reusable, transferable and easy to install.
GRC is a Recycling company dedicated to converting waste plastic materials into commercially viable product, utilizing environmentally friendly recycling and manufacturing methods. We intend to make enough profit to generate a significant return for our investment and to finance continued growth and continued development in quality product. We will also maintain a friendly, fair and creative work environment, which respects diversity, new ideas and hard work.
